For a guy from New Orleans, being in a town called Mystic seems right. Coming from a town where the major cultural celebration was defined by the Mistick Krewe of Comus and where Carnival organizations were formed following the traditions of 19th century men's clubs in Mobile, which calls itself the "Mother of Mystics," New Orleans is just a mystical sort of place.
