I have fond memories of Mystic from my childhood: summer vacation days at the seaport and aquarium with my cousins, school field trips. But when you look back through the colored lenses of time, summer vacations and field trips rarely look dull. truth be told, to quote Paul Simon, many times "Everything looks worse in black and white." So I decided to see for my jaded adult self just what makes Mystic worthy of being on a list alongside the other 999 places to see before you die.
